Visitation: Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28th from 12-5 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton. Visitation will resume with family present at 6 p.m. at Canton Lutheran Church with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
Service: Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Canton Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Seth Joseph Kroger, age 20, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 the result of a motor vehicle accident.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28th from 12-5 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton.  Visitation will resume with family present at 6 p.m. at Canton Lutheran Church with a 7 p.m. prayer service.  Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29th at Canton Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. 

            Seth was born June 23, 1992 in Sioux Falls, SD to Mark and Patty (Coplan) Kroger.  He grew up in Canton, graduating from Canton High School in 2011.  He was active in football, basketball, track, band, and baseball in his high school years.   After high school he attended SMSU and SDSU.

        Seth enjoyed farming with his dad, hunting, beefing up his Nova and truck, and lifting weights.  During sweet corn season, he could often be found with his Grandpa Burdell selling the year’s crop. 

        Seth is survived by his parents, Mark and Patty; sister, Madeline, Canton, SD; grandparents, Jim and Enola Kroger, Inwood, IA and Burdell and Betty Coplan, Canton, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many special friends.
